Sorry to report that YouTube removed this video due to their Covid-19 censorship policy. I am in touch with Dr. Marquis about his video & will likely have a new link to the video soon. Please check back!
Excerpt below from Dr. David Marquis at Pathways to Health in Pismo Beach & link to his 10-min YouTube Video posted 5/8/20:
"Dr. David Marquis shares his views on why our initial strategies in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic made sense, as we did not have enough data to make more informed decisions at the time. Now that significant data is available it is time to embrace the facts, alter the initial protocols and abandon the fear-based propaganda. As the massive majority has over a 99% survival rate (the healthiest of us will not even experience any symptoms even if COVID-19 is contracted) it is time to get back to living our lives.
Take off the masks (unless you are feeling symptoms and/or are ill) breathe deeply, get outside and reconnect with the herd! It is essential for us to connect with others and with nature in order to thrive! This behavior also boosts our immunities by supporting resilient microbiome which protects us from constant exposure to germs, viruses, bacteria, and disease...
Let's continue to learn from this experience, question authority, do our own research, and implement optimal healthy lifestyles in preparation for the inevitability of another surge of COVID-19, now that stay at home orders are lifting. The main cause of this surge will most likely be due to millions of well-intended citizens who follow the "authorities" dictated demands to wear masks, avoid close contact and stay at home. Their immune systems may now be compromised by the psychological impacts and weakened microbiome after weeks of isolation. Let's follow non-profit driven science, logic and common sense as we support each other, take responsibility, and keep a positive mindset."
